SPTC is operational by achieving a milestone in the human resource development sector by producing skilled manpower and by ensuring employable skills and job opportunities for poor and disadvantaged youth in line with the National Skills Development Policy. At present we have inclusive training programmes in partnership with Bangladesh Association of Construction Industry (BACI) and dedicated to developing a skilled workforce for priority industry sector in Bangladesh being a valued partner in Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP). Under this total 300 beneficiaries have been trained in different trades of the construction sector and 80% of the graduates have been integrated to the employment both in self and wage. Besides we are successfully implementing Pre-vocational Training Programme in the greater northern regions and covered 8 Upazila under “Reaching Out-of-School Children (ROSC)” project in partnership with Save the Children & reached 2100 trainees and 1500 graduates have been engaged in the gainful employment. A great value adding a project of SPTC is Shamertho-Sustainable Skills and Employment in Small Scale Agro Food Processing Project funded by Helvetas and we have extended our Technical and vocation skills training to the agro-based sector exclusively in food processing and beverage management. In addition to this, SPTC covered greater Dinajpur and Bogra District under the B-SKILLFUL project in partnership with Swisscontact. We groomed 520 trainees with skills training & among them, 350 graduates have been placed in the specialized skill wise job sector. SPTC is also imparting training of Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) in partnership with Star Computers Systems Limited (SCSL) and TUB SUD.
